I started working in marble at the age of fourteen, in metals at nineteen. I earned two Fine Art degrees from the National School of Plastic Arts, San Carlos (Diego Rivera's alma mater), where I studied sculpture, painting and engraving.
I have been exhibiting my work since 1989, and teaching art since 1997. Currently, I teach sculpture classes and show my work at Rancho La Puerta in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico.
